• When did you come to personally recognize the Holy Spirit active in your life?
• How have you been prompted by the Holy Spirit? What was your reaction?
• What was your life like after you have positively responded to a prompting?

1. Have you heard of the Holy Spirit before? If so, how have you thought of him? Bird, fire, wind, something else?
2. Knowing what you know now about the Holy Spirit, look back on your life. Are there any moments or experiences in which you think the Holy Spirit was present, that you didn’t realize at the time?
3. What are some of the most impactful ways you see the Holy Spirit active in your life now?
4. How have you seen the Holy Spirit active in someone else’s life?
5. How do you think the Holy Spirit could be more active in your own life?

Preparation tasks

• Recruit testimony speaker.

Supplies checklist

• Signs for directing people to the meeting location
• Refreshments (optional)
• Check-in list
• Podium or music stand
• Microphone, if needed
• Video presentation equipment (i.e. TV or projector)
• Small group discussion guide
• Announcements: next session date

Setup checklist

• If needed, post signs to direct participants to where the session is meeting.
• Set up refreshments (optional).
• Put a podium or music stand up front for the witness speaker who is giving their testimony.
• Set up a TV or projector. Test the video before the session starts so you can troubleshoot, if needed.
• Set up chairs.
• Set up small group meeting areas (i.e. tables, separate rooms, etc.).
• If you have a larger group, set up a microphone in the front of the room.
• Meet with your volunteers shortly before the session begins. Review the agenda and pray with them.
