Jesus looked up and saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury; and He noticed a poor widow put in two small coins. He said, "I tell you truly, this poor widow has put in more than the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood." (Lk 21:1-4)
Every one of God’s children is called to grow closer to our Lord through sacrificial giving. It is not a burdensome task, but a joyful opportunity for spiritual growth. As a ministry seeking to evangelize all in the name of our Triune God, it is incumbent upon Light of the World Evangelization Ministry to teach sacrificial giving.
