Fr. Max Striedl
Originally from Batavia, Illinois, Fr. Max is a life-long Catholic who graduated with a degree in Advertising from Purdue University in 1987. After working for three years in his field, he began to feel called to the priesthood. After a year and a half of discernment, he entered Mundelein Seminary, and was ordained for the Diocese of Rockford, Illinois, by Bishop Thomas Doran on May 25, 1996. Fr. Max has served the Diocese through parish and high school work, in the Cursillo movement and as Scout chaplain, and has been spiritual director for the Great Lakes Catholic Men’s Conference for many years. He is currently the pastor of St. Mary Church in Huntley, Illinois. He has been involved with Light of the World since its inception, and views it as the foundational piece for all the evangelization efforts in the parish.
