Light of the World is headed .  .  .

"Down

LOTWEM Headed "Down Under"

On February 15 - 18, Fr. Rex J.  Curry and several parishioners from the parishes of Sacred Heart, Mona Vale, and Maria Regina, Avalon, Australia attended a LOTW Retreat in Colliersville, TN.  They were very impressed with the LOTW Process and felt it would be a great fit for Australia. After reporting back to their diocese, the Diocese of Broken Bay, LOTWEM was invited to speak to all of the priests of Diocese at their upcoming  annual diocesan priest conference.

Jeanne Leezer and Mike Pacer will attend the conference entitled " Is there a place for me? Toward a welcoming, inviting Church" June 3-6. Jeanne and Mike will have the opportunity to address the Bishop and priests three times during the conference. On the the following Saturday, Jeanne and Mike will be holding a Parish Information Day for interested parishes.

Archdiocese of Brisbane: After completing their work in the Diocese of Broken Bay, Jeanne and Mike will travel to the Archdiocese of Brisbane at the invitation of Mike Humphreys, the Director of Everyday Mission in the Faith and Life Vicariate. Jeanne and Mike will make two Information Presentations - one for employees of the Archdiocese and one for parish representatives.

Please pray for safe travel, the discernment process, and for the facilitation of this transition if it is God's will.

And now, closer to home:

LOTWEM has been invited to present a Parish Information Day at the Church of St. Timothy in West Hartford, Connecticut. The Information Day is tentatively set for Saturday October 4.

Please pray for the parishioners of St. Timothy and their discernment.
